Australia’s Burn Antares
is back, along with Aesthetes Anonymous (sorry for the long break) with the
haunting new track “Man’s Eyes.”
In the same vein as “Into the Night,” this five piece is mining the depths of psychedelic 60s desert rock a la Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood meets Jefferson Airplane. With bewitching vocals that draw on those sirens Stevie Nicks and Wanda Jackson and scorching Ennio Morricone-esque guitar lines, “Man’s Eyes” sucks you in and takes you on a frenzied ride through the eerie darkness of the night where guns, mysticism, and vision quests rule.
