Taken from their long-awaited debut album, HEX.LOVER.KILLER, which I’ve already gone ahead and included in my top ten albums of the year, “America” expresses the essence of our country at its most bourbon swilling, flag waving, fuel burning, gun blasting, Hemi revving, hair raising, cowboy swaggering, barn burning, rebel yelling, red, white, and blue dreaming self.

The fire breathing, adrenaline spitting, diesel drinking vixens of Deap Vally are back with another single from their forthcoming album, Sistronix.

On “Bad For My Body,” Deap Vally embraces the sex, death, and madness of proper fuck off rock n’ roll. Guitarist and vocalist Lindsey Troy sneers with a petulance that only youth can muster, “Doin’ things that are bad for my health/Doin’ things that are bad for my future because I can’t help myself.”

Drink a bathtub of whiskey, inject a fire hose of heroin, or do whatever you’re into, but just make sure to turn it up to eleven.

Darkly sensual and dripping with wet malice, Australia’s Bloody Lovely Audrey sounds like a night filled with Hemi-powered monsters howling down a foggy highway deep in the sweltering southern bayou.

Like the mistress of a vampire bordello, Sinead Curry’s vocals entice you with their hungry allure and uncontrollable lust. Is that the sound of your heart thumping, the dark drums of Armageddon, or the pounding beats and grinding guitar riffs.
